Using a virtual tabletop?
Unique file types are used with virtual tabletop platforms like Roll20, Fantasy Grounds or Foundry VTT. These platforms or programs allow you to play roleplaying games virtually with your friends.
To find VTT content on DriveThruRPG, navigate to Browse Categories > Format > Virtual Tabletops. To find your specific VTT content of choice, click Refine > your VTT of choice.
Alternatively, you can search for each VTT directly using our search bar and clicking the corresponding filter.
Accessing Your Virtual Tabletop Content
Roll20
Roll20 assets have their own file type, Roll20 VTT.
Purchasing a Roll20 VTT product will prompt you to enter the email address associated with your Roll20 account.
You will receive an order confirmation email with instructions on how to access your content.
To view or use your Roll20 VTT item, log into Roll20 and navigate to My Marketplace Items. There, you will find your purchased content ready to incorporate into your next game!

Fantasy Grounds
Fantasy Grounds assets have their own file type, MOD (Virtual Tabletop). Download links will be added to your Library, Order History, and to the product listing itself.

Foundry VTT
Foundry VTT assets have their own file type, Foundry VTT.
Purchasing a Foundry VTT product will prompt you to enter the email address associated with your Foundry VTT account.
Your purchased content will be available to you from within the Foundry Virtual Tabletop Application the next time you open it on your computer. You can find your titles listed under Game Worlds, Game Systems, or Add-On Modules, and ready for you to download and update.
If you do not yet have a Foundry VTT account, you can manually register your purchased titles using the following steps:
- Go to the Foundry VTT website: https://foundryvtt.com
- Log in
- Go to https://foundryvtt.com/me/purchases
- Enter your Content Key.
- Click “Activate Content”
